Positions at Brookhaven National Laboratory High Energy Theory and Nuclear Theory Groups The Nuclear Theory and High Energy Theory groups expect to have positions available beginning Oct. 1, 2000. The Nuclear Theory group will have positions at both the post-doctoral and junior staff level, while the High Energy group will have positions at the post-doctoral level. The High Energy theory group has active programs in electroweak physics, collider physics, perturbative QCD, spin physics, and lattice QCD. The Nuclear theory group has programs in perturbative QCD, RHIC phenomenology, small x physics, dynamical problems in field theory, and phase transitions and cosmology. In addition, the RIKEN/BNL Research Center has both post-doctoral and research fellows involved in theoretical research in QCD, RHIC physics, and lattice gauge theory. There are close interactions among the members of all three groups. To apply for positions in either the Nuclear or High Energy theory groups, please send a CV with a list of publications, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to: Ms. Marcy Chaloupka Physics Department Brookhaven National Laboratory Upton, NY 11973 by Jan. 1, 2000. Applicants will automatically be considered for appropriate positions in other groups. Brookhaven National Laboratory is an equal opportunity employer.
