While the group has broad interests in all areas of theoretical nuclear physics, it has a strong focus in the areas of QCD at high energies, temperatures and densities, perturbative QCD and spin physics, phenomenology in support of the experimental programs at RHIC and the LHC, and research in anticipation of future scientific directions that will be feasible with the RHIC II, EIC and FAIR projects.
