The Plenary and Parallel Session agenda

Principal Aims of the Workshop:

Presentation of the eRHIC electron beam design Zero-th Design Report (ZDR) to wider audience and to have more communication between the experimental/theoretical physicists and e-ring/e-linac/IR designers
Review status of physics and detector ideas being pursued so far and the new interests from HERA for low-x/low-Q2 physics and possible measurements at medium and high x as added dimension to the physics case for eRHIC, which might have direct connection to the electron beam design
Initiate planning for the next long range planning excercise to take place in 2005/6

The workshop is expected to start on January 29, 2004 in the morning, and end on January 31, 2004 before lunch. There will be at least 2 plenary sessions (first and third mornings). The rest of the time will be allotted to parallel sessions and discussion sessions both within and amongst the Working Groups. (Accelerator WG, IR Design WG, Physics/Detector WG).

Please contact any of the local organizers with your input and suggestions for the meeting, including if you would like to present something in parallel sessions. Tammy Heinz (theinz@bnl.gov) should be contacted for any other logistical and administrative needs such as on and off site housing, and question regarding BNL entry passes.
