Critical temperature

Figure 7 (left) in our paper [ Phys. Rev. D74, 054507 (2006), e-Print: hep-lat/0608013 ]

Tcr0 as a function of mpsr0 on lattices with temporal extent Nτ=4, ms=0.065 (squares) and ms=0.1 (triangles) as well as for Nτ=6, ms=0.04 (circles). Thin error bars represent the statistical and systematic error on r0/a. The broad error bar combines this error with the error on βc. The vertical line shows the location of the physical value mps r0=0.321(5) and its width represents the error on r0. The three parallel lines show results of fits based on Eq.(13) with d=1.08 for Nτ=4, 6 and Nτ→∞ (top to bottom).

Energy density and three times the pressure as function of the temperature calculated on Nt=4 and 6 lattices.
The temperature scale has been obtained from the Sommer scale r0.

The ratio of the temperature to the square root of the spatial string tension calculated on Nt=4, 6 and 8 lattices
compared with the prediction of dimensional reduction indicated by the line. The uncertainty in the prediction of the dimensionally reduced theory is shown by dashed lines. For easier visualization the temperature on the
lower horizontal axis has been rescaled by T_0=200MeV corresponding to r_0 T_0=0.47619.
We also show the temperature scale in units of r_0 on the upper horizontal axis.
