About Me I am a post-doc at Brookhaven National Laboratory on Long Island (NY). I received my Ph.D. from Florida State University in Theoretical High Energy (or Particle) Physics and now I am working in the High Energy Theory group at BNL. My research interests include (but are not exclusive to) investigating models of electroweak symmetry breaking with particular attention paid to the production of Standard Model and Supersymmetric Higgs bosons. I am married with two sons (Jake and Henry). My wife (Jenn) is an artist who specializes in folk art. My older son Jake (age 7) is an aspiring movie maker who is currently working on a project tentatively titled “Wars in Space”...which is in NO WAY related to the Star Wars trilogies. My younger son Henry (age 3) loves to play baseball, but hopes to one day grow up to be Batman. One of my real passions (besides family and work, of course) is music. When not wrestling with my boys, I’m either playing my guitar or glued to my iPod (no doubt the greatest invention known to man!). I love all kinds of music, but I’m a huge fan of The Who, Pearl Jam and the Rolling Stones. Son Volt, Wilco and Johnny Cash are also some of my favorites.
