Hotel Reservations
Please call the hotels (the toll-free numbers listed) below and make
your own reservations. The rates given below will be available to the
Workshop participants from 5th April until 9th April, 2000. To get the
rates below, you have to mention the eRHIC Workshop at Yale when you
make the reservations. If participants calling from outside the US have
trouble getting the toll free access please contact Bonnie
Sherwood for assistance in this matter.

The Colony Inn and the New Haven Hotel are at a brisk 20 minutes walk
from the Workshop site. The Residence Inn and the Grand Chalet are a bit
far but the hotels have promised to provide a free shuttle service for the
Workshop participants to and from the Workshop once every day. For those
who miss the shuttle, or want to commute at different hours, there is always
the option of Taxi Cabs and other fellow Workshop participants with cars.

People driving in to New Haven for the workshop can also call the hotels
directly for the best routes to the hotels from the Interstates I-95, I-91,
or CT-State Route 1, Route 15.

How to get to the Workshop once you are at Yale:
The Workshop will be held in Rooms 57,59 and XX in the Sloan Physics
Laboratory in the
Science Hill section of
Yale University.

Parking Information: Parking will available on Thursday and Friday
at the Pierson-Sage
Garage on Whitney Avenue. Please inform us when your register if
you need parking tickets. On Saturday, parking is available in the
open parking in front of the Pierson Sage Garage and Gibbs Physics Laboratory.
These spots are about 3-5 minutes walk from the Sloan Physics Laboratory.
(See map) People who need parking should arrive on Whitney Avenue for
easy access to parking.
There are off street paid parking meters on most of the streets except
Whitney Avenue on the Yale Campus. They are usually very difficult to get.
